Medford Roll-Over Wreck Causing Major Traffic Delays On I-93 (Developing)

Traffic officials in Medford said a roll-over crash on I-93 is causing traffic delays.

Emergency crews are warning drivers to avoid northbound I-93 near exit 24 as they clean up a rollover crash.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said in a tweet that the wreck happened in the northbound lanes beneath the Roosevelt Circle near exit 24 around 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15. Only one lane of traffic remains open as emergency crews are still on the scene.

Photos from the crash from NBC Boston show two cars involved with an ambulance on site.

Calls to police were not immediately returned so it's unclear how many people were injured or the severity.
